The rumours are off again for a prospective reuniontour/new recordings later in 2008.
It seems across the forums that 90% responding to these rumours are in favour of a Libertines( or at least a Pete/Carl) reunion...what about you ?

Me too. But I think they both need a long rest...Tim Burgess , who has been clean for a very long time, was looking well up for Antmusic,but Carl seemed a bit tired, ie. not as up front as Tim. Carl really should take time out for a breather after his recent illness and should give up booze entirely so he can go on giving it is his all on stage and in recordings.
Pete's been confused for a long while now and needs to give up everything he's taking. Wake Up Pete!
Yep, two happy healthy aware musicians making music together...that's what I'd like to see and hear. Impossible?

Adam reckons Pete and Carl will playing together again...maybe five songs next time? lol I'm really glad they got together for this little shindig. Nice one. x
I don't know if there will be videos or not as MTV seems to have glommed on to all the media...there were supposed to be interviews with the press afterwards, but they were cancelled. I expect there will be an MTV programme about it all. Has it been aired yet? Sorry to say I don't watch MTV...

I don't watch MTV either but there was footage showing a kiss on Pete's cheek from Carl. Not that I'm bothered by that, when it's all about the music ...ahem ;)
